Utter exhaustion.
The job?
The new diet?
Mental overload? (a dear friend drowning, satan on the warpath at our church, aching hip, taxes)
Sitting here in the shade (86*) with wind bending wild rose bushes and tall grasses and fledgling cottonwoods as the Weiser River moves swiftly by, I am tempted to close my eyes and give up the ghost. But that is not meant to be.
So instead I’ll thank You profusely for Psalm 40 and for imprinting in my brain:
Wait patiently for the Lord
Trust the Lord
Proclaim the Lord
Rejoice in the Lord.

Yes, yes. I also love Ps. 37:7…..Rest in the Lord and wait patiently for Him.

oh what a good reminder! Indeed, wait patiently for the Lord, isn’t always easy either! In waiting patiently we put our trust. Always rejoicing. Even when we may not feel like it. I too have been in mental over load. Thanks Donna!
