After a month of being disconnected, I’m officially reconnected…to the internet and therefore to you.  Let me tell you a few things I learned in my ”time off” from blogging….

#1. I had no idea how technologically reliant I have become.  Thankfully,  I quickly learned that the “browser” feature on my cell phone gave me access to not only check my email, but also the goings-on at Cowgirl Clippings.  I never could figure out how to leave comments– that had to be done on a real live computer either at a friend’s house or the library.

#2.  I love Charlotte and Kathy and their posts.  It was really fun to read their entries and spend time as a “reader” rather than “contributor” here at CC.

#3.  I don’t want to hinder Charlotte and/or Kathy from their posting now that I’m “back”.

#4.  I love my new computer/internet set-up and it was worth the wait.  I ended up getting a laptop and it has a little thing called an “air card” that allows me to use it anywhere that I can get cell service.   I’m super mobile and super fast.  I’m sitting outside at our picnic table right now watching the girls chase each other in the yard with the hose!  Speaking of mobile, we’re going camping this weekend and I’d kind of like to give this “air card” a trial run out on a rim in Hells Canyon….. but I’d probably drop the whole outfit and watch it roll to the bottom of a canyon… or one of the dogs would chew up the air card…. or some small child would wipe a smore across my perty new screen….so I’ll leave it home.

#5. I get a lot more done when I’m not blogging.  Over the past six months, blogging has become one of my most favorite procrastination techniques.  Without the internet I actually got caught up on laundry and got mostly moved into our new house. 

#6. I have a lot to write about.  Posts are sitting in my camera and in my head, waiting to be emptied out.
