Cowboys. They come in all shapes and sizes. Cowboys come from all sorts of different backgrounds. Some are married, some are single, some are young, some are old. Some do it for a paycheck, some for a hobby. With branding season just getting rolling, cowboys are easy to spot this time of year. Here’s a little selection of the cowboys who crossed my path this weekend…
There are laughing cowboys…

There are cowboys who have worn out gloves…

and cowboys with no gloves…

There are daddy cowboys…

And there are someday cowboys…

There are accomplished cowboys…

And young, gangley, pony-riding-in-a-halter, cowboys…

There are roping cowboys…

and then there are draggin’ a calf to the fire cowboys…

There are smiling, ground crew cowboys…

and there are waitin’ for a job cowboys…

There are young cowboys…

and there are boss cowboys…

There are newly married flirting with their cute new wife cowboys…

There are cowboys with pretty new chinks…

and there are socializing cowboys…

There are cowboys with glasses…

and cowboys with bright orange ropes…

There are cowboys with black hats…

and cowboys with red beards and funny hats…

There are cowboys all in a line, all with a calf on their “line”…

and finally, my friends, there is my cowboy…. with our sweet wrangler wearing Baby Kate…

When I saw the “cowboy draggin’ one to the fire” cowboy, I said, “That’s Buck Cowboy!”

Awesome pictures and documentation! I didn’t realize there were so many “different types” of cowboys! Wahoo, to beautiful blue skies and sunshiny spring days!
